Love this mud!

1776 is my all time favorite coffee. Normally I would get that pit in my stomach as I get to the end of my ground coffee but have the big 5 lb bag on a recurring order. Even though it's a huge bag, the coffee manages to remain fresh throughout its lifetime in myh kitkchen. Thank you blacfkout!

Best Dark Roast on the Market

I'm a pour-over guy that only drinks black, dark roast coffee. I can't say I've tried them all, however, I've tried a bunch. The 1776 by Blackout is hands down my favorite. Smooth, Earthy, Non-Acidic. The trick is to make sure your grind is right. I only by whole beans so I can grind them the way I like. For pour-overs, I prefer a coarse grind, unbleached paper filter, 202 degree fresh filtered water making sure to "swirl" the coffee in the filter keeping it completely submerged in the water. There's a lot of coffee you can choose from out there (most of there names starting with black) The Blackout 1776 will not disappoint if your looking for a great cup of Joe. If that doesn't do it for you, then try the Brewtal Awakening. And if that doesn't do it for you......then you just don't like dark roast coffee.
Peace

Has a distinct flavor, like some wood smoke was added when roasting.

1776 Dark Roast is the BEST!

Of all the different Dark Roasts I've tried (and there have been quite
a few), Blackout's 1776 has the deepest, richest flavor by far! I'm a bit
of a 'coffee snob' (I grind my own beans and use a Chemex) and I've actually thrown away coffees that didn't measure up to my expectations, but 1776 is my current favorite!

I really like this coffee it’s really is smooth and has very good flavor, I think it’s the best medium roast I’ve tried.

Favorite roast so far!!

This is my new go to roast!! Love dark roasts and this one is great. I believe it said honey lemon finish witch I was skeptical about, however I get a clean crisp aftertaste no so much honey lemon witch is a great thing in my opinion. Love what you guys stand for and love the coffee keep this blend forever!!

1776 is my fav

With FPC being a close second, and my wife liking Brewtal Awakening, 1776 is the smoothest in my view.
