Inconsistent grind/too many fines

Bought lots of bags, ground and whole bean, so far and all have been great. Love the flavors.
The latest bag of ground though had big clumps of fines and the coffee turned out bitter. I'm not good at making coffee but don't know how to deal with a fine grind.

I like Fruitcake??

I hesitated wanting to make a full pot of this surprise flavor. Smelling it was interesting, but we went for it and we're happy with the subtle fruit flavor. It was a pleasant cup of coffee.
