How to find the right gasket and screen filter for your stovetop espresso maker
So your stovetop espresso maker started to leak. Chances are all it needs is good cleaning and a gasket replacement. Trying to find the right gasket can be a daunting task.
What size is your stovetop?
Stovetops come in many sizes, from 1-cup to 18-cup. An espresso cup is about 1oz, so these are not your everyday cups. Before you buy your gaskets, you need to figure out what size is your stovetop. The easiest way to find out is by looking at the product box, or at times, at the pot itself.
Alternatively, measure the outside diameter of your existing gasket and use the tables below to figure out the size of your stovetop espresso maker.
